Abigail joined Berry & Co in 2010 after working in law firms in both the United States and New Zealand. She gained her juris doctor of laws at the University of Virginia in May 2008.
She works closely with the partners in a variety of areas including immigration, company and commercial law, property, environmental and resource management and dispute resolution.
Her consultancy work includes;
• Assisting with immigration advice on all aspects of immigration law including work permits, residency permits, investor visas and section 35A applications;
• Assisting with a variety of residential and commercial property matters including resource management, overseas investment, tenure review and relationship property issues;
• Assisting with advice and contracts for commercial and company matters including employment issues, commercial leases, and asset and shareholder issues. |
Abigail hails from the eastern United States where she grew up hiking and camping in the Appalachian Mountains. She has continued those outdoor pursuits in and around Queenstown and is also a keen SCUBA diver, fly fisherman and amateur photographer. She is a member of the Wakatipu Anglers Club and volunteers with the local Big Buddy Programme. |
